Event Description:
Peoria-based band Top 4D will perform September 25 as part of Five Points Fridays, a series of free outdoor acoustic concerts held at Five Points Washington. With over 15 years of combined experience, Top 4D features talented, professional musicians all about having fun and playing only the most “danceable” and “singalongable” modern pop hits that people of all ages will love. Based in Peoria, Top 4D keeps audiences dancing and singing along from beginning to end! Gates open at 5:30 PM for the event, and the performance begins at 6 PM. The concert will be held adjacent to the new Five Points Washington outdoor patio area and adjacent parking lot area, located on the south end of the facility. Mike's Knot Just Ribs and Kona Ice of Peoria will have food available for purchase. A cash bar also will be available. In addition, Art at The Bodega will have an area setup during the early portion of the event where children can complete a craft project for a nominal cost. All performances in the Five Points Fridays series are free and open to the public; tickets are not required but, for planning purposes, attendees are encouraged to indicate they will attend in the individual Facebook event listings on the Live at Five Points Facebook page. Masks are not required by attendees as along as social distancing can be maintained. Limited seating and tables will be provided while adhering to social distancing guidelines, but attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. The final event in the Five Points Fridays series is an October 16 performance by Kyle Rhoney as one-man band Kickin’ & Pickin’ featuring rock and bluegrass selections. Five Points Washington opened in 2007 and is a self-sustaining, not-for-profit complex that uses fitness center user fees, rental revenue, and event admission sales to finance day-to-day operations. In addition to its new outdoor event space, the facility houses a 1,020-seat performing arts center, event/banquet/meeting rooms, a fitness center/gym and an aquatics center.
